beautiful view, wonderful staff and breakfast. the accommodation offers a shuttle to and from Sorrento Centre which was very convenient. Laura was very helpful to recommend restaurants and boat tours (much cheaper than online). highly recommend for a peaceful stay with benefits.

The hotel is small and personal in a magical setting up the hill from Sorrento, where it's breezy and quite quiet. There are lemon and olive trees out your window, and the property has so many sweet little seating areas to relax and enjoy. The staff and owners were wonderful and went out of their way for us. We loved the infinity pool with the fabulous view. We loved the breakfast area and the very kind staff who catered to my vegan diet and never made me feel like a nuisance. We were truly sad to have to leave Villa Giovanna.

We loved the peace and quiet at Villa Giovanni, we barely saw the other guests, there are plenty of nooks and areas to sit outdoors, in sun and shade, so everyone can have their own spot. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure we got a welcome drink on arrival. There is an old-world quality to the design of the hotel, it is the next best thing to staying in your own private villa. The shuttle bus down to the town was brilliant. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the hills of Sorrento. Clear view of the ocean from my room. Gorgeous gardens filled with resting chairs to admire the view. Room was modern, clean, well equipped and quiet. Every single member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Giovani and Laura were amazing. Outstanding breakfast (you can order eggs, bruschetta etc.) The hotel offers a free transfer service to the city. In the last day, I had to leave early in the morning to catch a bus to Naples. This was way before the regular hours of the hotel transfer. Laura arranged for Giovanni to bring me to the bus station at 5:30 am so I didn’t have to pay for a cab. It is an unforgettable experience, and I hope to visit Villa Giovanna again one day.

The room was quite spacious and had a great view from the window. The garden is a great place to sit (unfortunately during our stay the weather was too cold to do it for too long). It is a nice escape from a hustle and bustle of the city of Sorrento, yet it is quite close + there is a shuttle available on demand a couple of times throughout the day (we did not use it as we have had our own car though).

Lovely staff, family feel, very relaxing, authentic, felt like we were friends visiting their villa in the hills. Shuttle bus service really great. Pit in a fun entertainment evening with free food (delicious!) and wine. Singer great fun. Bedroom lovely and big, great bed, great bathroom, quiet everything you’d want in a villa stay. Can completely recommend, you will not be disappointed here. We would return if in Sorrento again, without a doubt.

The staff at Villa Giovanna are exceptional - so friendly and helpful in assisting us with transfers and information about local trips. The cleaning/catering staff were brilliant and the bar is open throughout the day/evening for drinks. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful with lots of shaded areas to sit and enjoy the views. We enjoyed being away from the busy town and the shuttle bus was a game changer. Breakfast is a buffet of mainly sweet items (cakes/fruit/yoghurt/toast) and a cooked breakfast is also offered: fried eggs, ham, cheese and bruschetta which was delicious. You can also ask for an omelette. World definitely stay here again.

Villa Giovanna exceeded all my expectations! Laura kindly arranged for us to be picked up from the train station and greeted us with welcome drinks. The room was ready and was clean and well equipped. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and were so relaxing and the views were great. They also have a rescue dog Chloe who is beautiful. I cannot wait to return here, feels very homely and accommodating perfect location in Sorrento. The shuttle bus service is perfect and they are flexible to what times you would like to return from the town!

Breathtaking location away from the busy centre of Sorrento. Shuttle bus service is an excellent touch that helped us pack loads into a short holiday without worrying about taxis or public buses. Breakfast is a generous portion size and excellent quality. All the staff are very approachable. The villa generally has a very relaxed vibe
